This porcelain tea cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in France by Jean Pouyat Limoges in 1906. It was produced especially for the Wanamakers department store in Philadelphia. The plate measures 8 ½ inches in diameter, the saucer is 5 ¾ inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high.The porcelain is molded with flowing rims with high relief scrolling. The decoration is an art nouveau design of stylized flowers and leaves in pastel colors. The borders are all heavily gilded and there are many gilded accents within the design.
